Joel was raised out of the GTA and was quickly subject to being the only metal head in his classes.
He developed a taste for metal by channeling years of harsh upbringings into music that is energetic and full of passion. After living in the underground scene in Toronto he moved out west and is active in Saskatoon as a avid scene promoter and his solo project Side Step The Crow
